Founded in 2004 by the esteemed senior journalist, lyricist, theatre director, and writer Kumar Vijay, Sanchiya began as a small theatre group in Allahabad (now Prayagraj), dedicated to the power of art and storytelling.
As time progressed, Sanchiya expanded its horizons, evolving into a multi-faceted entity. The group evolved into Sanchiya Trust, a platform for social causes; launched Sanchiya (Sach ki Awaj), a news portal committed to truth and transparency; introduced In City Info, an information-based directory website serving local needs; and published Sanchiya Samay, a newspaper aimed at spreading knowledge and awareness.
